Kalisto never made a name for herself on Etherea, which was the reason she joined the Leviathan. Even despite her high intelligence and her talent in physics, she never enjoyed working in that field. She's also a vemian and comes from a wealthy family. Her tier naturally granted her the powers of thermokinesis (heat manipulation) and hyalokinesis (glass manipulation). Regardless of her powers, intellect and her wealthy lineage, she never felt true happiness. Kalisto is a workaholic, but she never found her true calling on Etherea and that bothered her a lot. When she got the news about the Leviathan, she felt hope and left her job as a research scientist. Her family wasn't excited but they understood she's trying to find her purpose.
