ETHEREANS/SEDEPAHINES

About: ethereans are an extraterrestrial species with a resemblance to humans. Although they have a home planet called Etheria, they prefer to travel to other planets and are highly advanced. They are separated into 3 tiers by the number of their wings. There  is also a fourth tier, called erie, which is not a classic tier, but a corrupted etherean. The first tier is the most common and takes up 51% of the population. It is followed by the second tier with 29%, the third tier with 16% and the fouth tier at 4%. Tiers don’t dictate their social status, it only differentiates them by their skills. The only tier that is an anomaly to the rule is the erie. Ethereans have certain secondary sex characteristics so they represent the two standart genders: males and females. Those traits are mostly cosmetic because they are hermaphrodites, so some ethereans appear very androgynous.

Tier 3: Cerines – have 3 sets of wings. They are physically the strongest and are usually granted possitions in the royal guard/army.

Tier 2: Vemians – they have 2 sets of wings and usually posses elemental powers and have high intelligence.

Tier 1: Altians – have only one set of wings. They the fastest of the three classes and can have any type of telekinetic power.

The Erie – the erie can be any class from the above. They are the corrupted versions of etherians.

 

PHYSICAL APPEARANCE

Halos: their halos are the source of their powers and can float above or behind their heads. They usually compliment their color scheme and can form different forms around the basic circular shape.

Height: they are very tall compared to humans, ranging from 3 meters to even as much as 5+ meters.

Body and weight: the most common body types are usually lanky and slim. However they can be muscular or even overweight. Sometimes their collarbone can extent outwards and create differend shapes much like antlers.

Face and head: they are hairless but they do have horns. Horns can be any shape. Bigger horns are rarer. 1 to 2 pairs of horns is quite common while 3 to 4 pairs is rare. They have big eyes that can be any shape and can have eyelashes. Most common is a pair of eyes in one solid color. Less common is 3 eyes of lighter colors and/or scleras. Rare is two pairs of eyes and differently shaped pupils. Hands and feet: ethereans have long fingers. Their hands can either have 5 fingers or 4. Both is common. Feet look the same as on people.

Markings: they are uncommon and can either contrast the skin or be in the same color group as their body. They can appear on the body or on the face. Markings on the body are usually symetrical across the body.

Body colors: their color can range from colorful pastels (common) to dark natural colors (rare). Their color scheme is usually monochrome or contains up to 4 differend colors from a similar color group. White is very common, while black is rare. For skin pastels and desaturated natural colors are common and midtones or darker natural colors are less common, dark tones such as navy, dark browns, greys or even black are rare. Wings can be more colorful and can range from pastels (common), natural colors (common), darker natural colors (less common) and sometimes even brighter unnatural colors (rare). Colors are never neon.
