Hayden is a pilot of the Leviathan. He is an introverted loner who was interested in architecture from a very young age. Since his childhood he worked hard to get to where he is now. He's very well known for his work and he will do anything to keep it that way. He's usually pretty laid back and stress doesn't get to him easily. However, if something shakes him up, he can get very bitter and pessimistic. Hayden's room on the Leviathan could ony be described as a hot mess. It's not that he hates cleaning, he's just busy with his architecture projects or piloting the ship. Due to his quiet nature and the fact he prefferes to keep for himself, other crew members perceive him as a bit of a snob.
When Oktober, his old friend, offered him the possition on Leviathan, he turned it down. He didn't feel like discovering a planet is worth risking his life work at home. It took a while but Oktober and Arabella finally convinced him that Earth really is worth visiting. As of the Leviathan's arrival to Earth, he's taken a liking to the human species. He's been showing an interest in their biology, culture and of course architecture. He's also a lot more open and talkative with his human friends.
